Training and Quality for the GRAF Group

Continuous training and updating: these are fundamental activities, almost keywords, for companies that invest time and resources in innovation and quality. The GRAF Group has established itself as a multi-business company based on technology and innovation, where in each of the fields of action of the Business Units technical skills, specialisation and overvieware necessary at the same time, with the ultimate objective of addressing the technological challenges of the present and, above all, of being at the forefront in guiding the developments of the future.

For this to be possible, training is a formidable lever of growth, which creates value and skills within the company but also promotes the growth of the cultural and professional background of individual people. High levels of skills and correct application are therefore, in a nutshell, the 2 poles between which the game of innovation is played.

Seen in these terms, the course that ended on Friday 25 November represented an important step towards the development of skills and professionalism.

TheQuality Office of GRAF Synergy, the Business Unit of GRAF Industries that with the patent V-Perfect has revolutionised the CNC machine sector for the production of PVC windows, participated in two days of refresher course on the subject of applied metrology. The course allowed our students to expand their knowledge of issues crucial to quality, such as identification of the most suitable measurement method and instrument for the verification of geometric tolerances, the correct interpretation of data, and the prevention of measurement errors typical of mechanical measurements through the use of slide gauge, micrometer, comparator, and torque wrenches.

Riccardo Massari, GRAF Synergy Quality Office Manager, in commenting on the experience on behalf of all participants, confirmed that the course “undoubtedly served to better strengthen a number of basic concepts of measurements and to eliminate any uncertainties, if any, on the geometric tolerances that are the basis of everyday work“.

An excellent result, therefore: + precision errors = GRAF Quality.
