As a Group, we pay great attention to environmental protection, with a particular focus on sustainable energy. Since 2008, when few people were still talking about it, we have been committed to creating added value in our processes through the use of green energy produced by solar panels. This commitment has not stopped in time; in fact, our investments have continued until 2022, the year in which we achieve energy self-sufficiency. In fact, not only do we boast an area of 15250 m2 of solar panels that can supply us with up to 3,064,251 KWh/year of energy (2023 figures), but we have purchased and installed two thermal storage tanks to be able to store excess photovoltaic energy in the form of heat for both hot and cold air conditioning. In addition, all factories are air-conditioned by systems that primarily use electric heat pumps supported by condensing boilers when necessary.
